Job Role

This is a critical role that oversees the monitoring of credit risk models, ensuring their accuracy and reliability. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data management and analytics.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage ongoing monitoring of credit risk (retail & non-retail) models to maintain best practice risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance model development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain core modelling data to meet compliance requirements and support business objectives.
  • Facilitate regular review and analysis of model performance.
  • Enhance existing model monitoring framework using innovative tools and techniques.
  • Coordinate data transition from warehouse to discovery environment to production environment for efficient and robust results.
  • Monitor risk issues and recommend remedial action required to address marginal or unsatisfactory model performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in credit risk analytics / management with detailed understanding of data management, business and consumer portfolios.
  • Understanding of analytics models and data to facilitate effective credit risk management.
  • Ability to drive initiatives in identifying new opportunities to enhance existing business processes through statistical models and tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to learn and adapt.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quantitative Actuarial Statistics or other relevant degree/equivalent business experience.
  • Technical orientations in SAS programming, SQL, R, Excel with VBA, Word, PowerPoint, Bitbucket and Tableau.
