Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team in a leading role. In this position, you will be responsible for managing meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and dining room standards to ensure the highest quality meals are served to our community.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare high-quality meals, minimizing waste and ensuring food safety compliance
  • Oversee food stock management, including ordering and inventory control
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, dining area, and community spaces, adhering to health standards
  • Build strong relationships with residents and team members, demonstrating empathy, care, and professionalism
  • Follow WHS procedures, complete training, and safely handle chemicals and equipment in line with safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Hold Food Safety Supervisor accreditation and HACCP knowledge
  • Have a 'C' class driver's licence
  • Be experienced in cooking and serving buffet-style meals
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, a team-first attitude, and the ability to handle feedback professionally
  • Be physically fit and comfortable with hands-on kitchen work, including lifting, cleaning, and using PPE
