As a Senior Cook, you'll be responsible for leading meal preparation, ordering and kitchen stock management while maintaining high food quality and minimising waste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead meal preparation, ordering and kitchen stock management to ensure high food quality and minimise waste.
  • Oversee food safety compliance as the site's Food Safety Supervisor, including temperature checks and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, dining area and community spaces to meet health standards.
  • Build positive relationships with residents and team members, always showing care, empathy and professionalism.
  • Follow WHS procedures, complete training and safely handle chemicals and equipment in line with safety guidelines.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

Qualifications:

  • Food Safety Supervisor accreditation.
  • HACCP knowledge.

Experience:

  • Cooking and serving buffet-style meals.
  • Budgeting and cost control.
