Real Estate Property Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of residential properties, conducting inspections, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and addressing tenant inquiries.
  • Provide effective communication between landlords and renters.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and pursue any necessary debt recovery actions.
  • Provide regular updates and detailed financial reporting to clients.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain comprehensive property and renter records in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with minimum standards and safety checks.
  • Coordinate repairs for the property portfolio and communicate with contractors.
  • Conduct rent reviews and lease renewals.
  • Complete condition reports, routine inspection reports, and exit reports for the portfolio.
  • Open for inspections as required.
  • Issue resolution and mediation of any disputes.
  • VCAT applications and attendance.
  • Work towards KPIs and targets.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Property Manager, preferably in the residential leasing and property management sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • A results-oriented mindset and a proven track record of achieving key performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in using property management software.
  • A current driver's licence and a clear police check.
