About The Role

This is a permanent full-time role; candidates must possess and maintain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and/or ServSafe Certification.

As a Retail Food Service Manager, you will oversee the safe, effective, and efficient functioning of the restaurant under the guidance of the Restaurant Manager. Your focus will be on guest satisfaction, ensuring exceptional Quality, Service, and Cleanliness through your team. You will manage a Business Portfolio to achieve outstanding operational results while fostering a culture of inclusivity aligned with our core values: Growth Mindset, People Power, 100% Guest Obsessed, Stronger Together, and Making a Difference.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Ensuring Safety Leadership

  1. Oversee daily operations with an emphasis on safe work practices that comply with local regulations and Hungry Jack's standards.
  2. Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.

Fostering a Guest-Centric Culture

  1. Recruit, train, and supervise your team to provide exceptional guest service consistently, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  2. Assess employee performance, manage promotions, handle disciplinary matters, and address employee concerns as appropriate.
  3. Guarantee that guests receive prompt service and high-quality food.
  4. Implement the National Marketing Plan during your shifts to ensure a consistent guest experience (correct pricing, proper display of marketing materials).
  5. Address guest inquiries and feedback regarding products and services, taking appropriate corrective actions or escalating issues to ensure satisfaction.
  6. Manage National incentive programs during your shifts to enhance the guest experience.

Enhancing Brand Presence (Business Planning)

  1. Utilize your Business Priority Plan to continuously enhance Restaurant performance.
  2. Regularly review business outcomes and communicate them to your team, implementing clear action plans for improvement.
  3. Engage in community initiatives to boost visibility and foster brand loyalty.

Leading a High-Performing Team

  1. Establish a culture that prioritizes growth, trust, and accountability.
  2. Develop your Restaurant Team to ensure effective shift coverage with skilled and efficient employees.
  3. Create and maintain a succession plan to engage and retain internal talent.
  4. Collaborate with your Training Coach to implement the Restaurant's Training Plan.

Managing Business Operations (Profit and Controllables)

  1. Accurately forecast sales to ensure staffing and inventory align with guest demand.
  2. Prepare work schedules and assign specific duties to employees.
  3. Manage controllable expenses to meet profit objectives.
  4. Conduct regular inventory audits, maintain stock records, and ensure budget compliance.
  5. Order inventory based on sales forecasts.

Qualifications / Experience

AQF Certificate II or III or a minimum of one year of relevant experience.

Requirements
