An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Freight Operations Specialist to join our team at Melbourne Terminal. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth flow of imports and exports.
- Assist with the delivery of imports and acceptance of export freight to customers;
- Perform clerical duties associated with the delivery and acceptance of import and export freight (domestic and international);
- Work collaboratively as part of a team or independently to achieve operational goals;
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality and safety;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in an operational industry such as logistics, freight or airline environment;
- Demonstrated administrative skillset, proficient with the Microsoft Suite;
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience;
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure;
- Flexibility to work a 7 day rotational shift roster;
- An unrestricted Driver's license.
