A comprehensive program is designed to help patients achieve their maximum potential when recovering from an injury, illness or surgery. This involves a multi-disciplinary team working together with the client to achieve goals such as safe walking, independence in showering and dressing, adjusting to changes in life.
The rehabilitation service consists of clinical psychology, diversional therapy, nursing services, nutritional services, medical services, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, social work, pharmacy and pastoral care.
- Rehabilitation to patients with neurological conditions, rheumatology, cancer, transplant, LVADs, aged care, orthopaedic, and HIV patients.
You will be required to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in your field, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the relevant authority.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment.
- Ability to integrate theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
