Bar Attendant Opportunity at Pullman Melbourne on the Park

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our team at Pullman Melbourne on the Park. As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction with service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, clearing and resetting bar counters, and ensuring bar equipment is well-maintained.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including VIC RSA guidelines.
  • Restock and replenish bar supplies, ensuring inventory is adequately managed.
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions.
  • Provide information about drinks, food pairing, and promotions to guests.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient bar during busy service hours.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and dynamic atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or in a similar role.
  • RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse guests.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and excellent multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
