Care Worker Position Available

We are seeking a Care Worker to join our team. This is a casual position requiring a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

Flexibility to work a range of shifts in the afternoon, with shift times varying between 1pm and 8pm. The ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin is essential. A physically fit individual with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach is required. Reliability and commitment to the client and service users are essential.

A minimum certificate III, diploma or qualification in care or a relevant area such as aged care, community services, or health is required. Valid First Aid CPR certification is also necessary. Completion of the NDIS Modules - Worker Orientation & Infection Control (Covid-19) is preferred.

The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in Australia. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and full comprehensive vehicle insurance are also required. NDIS Worker Screening Check and valid Blue & Yellow Cards are necessary for this role. Police clearance issued within the last 12 months and proof of Covid-19 vaccination (2 approved doses) are also required.

Responsibilities include personal care, teaching daily life skills, community access, administering medication and domestic duties such as cleaning and cooking.
