About the Role

The Maintenance Operations Coordinator will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring that preventative and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimizing contractor use.

Reporting to the General Manager of Property, your work week will be Monday to Friday. Key to this role is the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage resources, and make informed decisions to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance operations, overseeing the completion of both preventative and reactive tasks.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize contractor use and optimize resource allocation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Property Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Fire and Evacuation legislation.
  • Utilize digital record-keeping tools to manage tasks, equipment, and personnel.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of OHS, Fire and Evacuation legislation and codes.
  • Able to handle a range of maintenance tasks, tools, and equipment.
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and respect for colleagues and residents.
