About Our EHS Role
We are seeking an accomplished and passionate Environment, Health & Safety professional with a strong commitment to excellence, ready to take on a highly rewarding and impactful challenge.
The EHS Professional will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments, ensuring the implementation of effective measures to control and mitigate risks in a dynamic rail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing controls to ensure a safe working environment.
- Leading the EHS function on site, overseeing induction programs for new starters.
- Developing, deploying, and maintaining procedures and tools tailored for our EHS Management System.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of the site, demonstrating a strong focus on compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborating with site teams to foster and enhance the EHS culture.
- Preparing and delivering a robust EHS training plan and program with HR support.
About You
- Qualifications in Workplace, Health and Safety (Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or similar).
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of local legal requirements, particularly in the context of Rail Safety.
- Show initiative, drive, and resilience, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Bring previous experience in the rail industry or a similar safety-critical environment, highlighting your adaptability and expertise.
