Local Verticals Lead for Global Growth Opportunities

Job Summary:

As a Local Verticals Lead, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development in the Asia-Pacific region. You will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships that align with Google's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team of Strategic Partner Managers to foster a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic initiatives and drive their execution in the region.
  • Represent APAC as the Global Initiative Lead for Local Verticals, working closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in partnerships, consulting, business development, product partnerships, sales, corporate strategy, and/or a similar field.
  • Experience in leading teams across different countries and working with product and global cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing a portfolio of partners to achieve product goals, operational efficiency, and partner satisfaction goals.
  • Experience in the commerce industry in APAC.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans.
  • Ability to influence all levels of management cross-functionally and externally.
