Fundraising and Sponsorship Specialist

Our mission is to save lives and serve the community through charitable social purpose.

Key objectives for this role include retaining and growing a portfolio of sponsors and supporters, as well as managing key deliverables across the business and identifying procurement opportunities in line with fundraising targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sponsorship pipelines by identifying market trends and high dollar value sponsorship opportunities in line with business objectives.
  • Support the retention and expansion of existing sponsorships while helping secure new opportunities with an emphasis on financial growth.
  • Manage all contracted deliverables associated with sponsorships.
  • Produce compelling reports, case studies and renewal proposals that highlight sponsorship ROI and reflect evolving partner objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to design innovative sponsor opportunities and maximise sponsor value.
  • Attend networking events and assist in the organisation's events as required.
  • Assist with the development of team processes to support long term growth.
  • Organise and manage activations and key events from planning to delivery and measurement.

Requirements for this role include:

  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in not-for-profit sponsorship and commercial fundraising.
  • Track record of driving corporate sponsorship revenue growth.
  • Account management experience, activating sponsor deliverables with creativity, discipline and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills, capable of juggling multiple timelines and priorities.
  • Collaborative personality with the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen understanding of negotiation methods.
  • Current driver's licence and availability for travel or weekend work.
  • Proficiency in using CRM platforms, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Canva.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a not-for-profit environment.
