Trusts and Foundations Role

As a Trusts and Foundations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in securing major funding from trusts and foundations to support medical research initiatives.

This position requires a proactive and creative individual who can develop and deliver effective fundraising strategies. You will work closely with researchers and internal stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and cultivate strong relationships with donors.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the development and delivery of trust and foundation fundraising strategies
  • Writing clear and persuasive proposals and reports
  • Organizing events, visits, and meetings to encourage and maintain support
  • Collaborating with researchers to identify funding opportunities
  • Managing existing donor relationships and providing high-level stewardship
  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM database
  • Providing regular reports on progress, targets, and income generated

For this role, we are seeking an individual with tertiary qualifications in fundraising/marketing/business or related fields. Relevant professional experience in philanthropy programs is also highly valued. The successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, the ability to understand complex research programs, and experience in building and managing trust and foundation pipelines.
