Job Description:

This position involves various tasks related to the cultivation and processing of crops in a production horticulture environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare growing media and suitable trays, pots, and containers.
  • Undertake propagation, planting, and pruning operations.
  • Apply pesticide and weedicide to crops.
  • Maintain soil, hydroponic, plant, treatment, and yield records.
  • Operate horticultural machinery and equipment to clear and cultivate land, sow and harvest crops, process, and pack crops.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in horticultural production, preferably in crop cultivation.
  • Strong knowledge of propagation, pest management, and irrigation systems.
  • Ability to operate and maintain horticultural machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
