Front Office Night Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Night Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time, six month contract basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the hotel's overnight operations, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of all accommodation-related services designed to maximise guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the night team members in upholding operating standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with service staff and other managers to proactively resolve any service and operational issues
  • Perform general cleaning and administrative tasks, including conference room set up, maintaining stock levels for the front desk area and printing/displaying conference signage
  • Monitor service standards, complaints and compliments
  • Meet and greet hotel guests, ensuring that you create a warm and inviting first impression
  • Handle guest check ins, enquiries, coordinate storage of luggage, recording and setting wake up calls and check out procedures
  • Manage guest accounts, ensuring that outstanding balances are finalised prior to guest departure

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within the hospitality industry, including front office, reservations and/or auditing experience
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, including an ability to handle queries, complaints and escalations
  • Sound knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience with cash handling and basic financial reporting
  • Willings and able to display flexibility as determined by changing business requirements
  • Possess a current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
