Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Quality Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement across our operations.

The Health, Safety and Environmental Quality Manager will oversee all HSEQ activities across Victoria, South Australia, and New Zealand, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation, and industry standards. The manager will work closely with production teams, senior management, and customers to enhance safety and quality standards, manage compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain ISO 9001 certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.
  • Manage quality assurance and control processes to minimise product impact and customer complaints.
  • Oversee incident reporting in Visy Incident Management System (VIMS) and Noggin for safety and environmental compliance.
  • Conduct HSEQ audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve quality, reduce spoilage, and optimise held stock levels.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture through awareness programs and training.
  • Work closely with customers/Suppliers to address concerns, ensure compliance, and support label development.
