Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead our HSEQ activities across Victoria, South Australia, and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will oversee all HSEQ initiatives to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement across our operations.

  • Compliance Management: Lead and maintain ISO 9001 certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage quality assurance and control processes to minimize product impact and customer complaints.
  • Incident Reporting: Oversee incident reporting in the Visy Incident Management System (VIMS) and Noggin for safety and environmental compliance.
  • HSEQ Audits: Conduct HSEQ audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with production teams to improve quality, reduce spoilage, and optimize held stock levels.
  • Safety Culture: Promote a zero-incident safety culture through awareness programs and training.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science or Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in HSEQ management.
