Freight Forwarder Import

Job Description: Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and service providers?

The Freight Forwarder Import role is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of import door consignments from origin to destination. Key responsibilities include:

  • Import Workflow Management: Manage import workflows in line with SOPs, customer requirements, and company directives.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the import team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of shipments. Strong communication skills are required to influence, present clearly, and challenge ideas constructively.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders locally and internationally.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve import and transport issues with airlines, CTOs, co-loaders, and shipping lines.
  • Financial Planning: Accurately calculate freight costings, GST, and space requirements.
  • Data Entry: Enter data into CargoWise One efficiently and correctly.

  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea), and proficiency in CargoWise One and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
