We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in developing and maintaining our data warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database concepts, data warehousing principles, and clinical health information systems.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to identify sources of information for health service-related data, electronic medical records systems, and other data sets.
- Create, build, deploy, and maintain data warehouse systems, including supporting technologies.
- Build and manage robust and scalable ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data into data warehouses and/or data lakes.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in data integration and development of data pipelines using technologies such as Talend/SSIS.
They will also have experience in managing visualization and data presentation tools (Tableau/Power BI) and development of reports and dashboards.
Additionally, the candidate will have sound knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
Relevant database certification (MSSQL) is essential, and ICT tertiary qualifications are desirable.
