About The Role:

">

As Governance Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting senior decision-making on one of Queensland's most significant infrastructure projects. You will provide high-level governance and secretariat support to senior program and project-level forums, including committees, project control boards and executive meetings.

Your ability to coordinate reporting, prepare high-quality documentation, and ensure forums operate in line with their accountabilities will help deliver effective and accountable decisions across the project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide governance and secretariat support to senior program and project-level forums">
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality meeting packs including agendas, briefing notes, papers, minutes, actions, memoranda, submissions and presentations">
  • Coordinate governance reporting requirements across Program Delivery, collating and distributing timely reports, briefings, presentations and information papers with accuracy and integrity">
  • Maintain governance registers, including minutes, actions and decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability">
  • Support the development, review and improvement of governance frameworks, and contribute to the establishment of new governance bodies">
  • Monitor compliance with governance processes, escalating risks or issues where required">

About You:

">

We're looking for someone who has demonstrated experience providing secretariat support to senior governance forums.

">

You'll need to have strong understanding of corporate governance processes, frameworks, reporting and compliance requirements.

">

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

">

Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills are also necessary, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
