Court Assessment and Prosecutions Officer Role Overview
This role involves supporting the operation of the Court Assessment and Prosecutions Service by applying relevant work practices. The successful candidate will be required to conduct initial assessments, variations or prosecutions against an individual's court order. Some travel may be required across the South West region.
About This JobThe Court Assessment and Prosecutions Officer will provide timely, high quality, evidence-based advice to stakeholders. They will undertake an effective assessment of an individual's risk to community safety, effectively manage individuals exhibiting challenging behaviours and produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide human services in needs assessments and development of interventions.
- Undertake thorough investigations to ensure justice is served.
- Produce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience or knowledge of court processes and prosecutions.
- Demonstrated ability to provide human services in needs assessments and development of interventions.
- Pays attention to words, expression and body language; recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusion.
- Resolves issues through deep understanding or interpretation of existing guidelines.
