Job Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Lead to support our business growth initiatives and ensure compliant, cost-effective procurement solutions. As part of our team, you will work collaboratively with leadership and external partners to deliver high-quality procurement input into bids, tenders and investment opportunities.

This role is responsible for ensuring procurement processes align with our policies and compliance requirements, engaging with suppliers and preparing requests for quotation, and reviewing supplier proposals. You will also contribute to the implementation of standardised procurement processes and templates, and provide guidance to project and business development teams on procurement requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in procurement, supply chain or commercial roles, preferably within Defence or Aerospace sectors
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to bid or project procurement activities, including gathering, reviewing and presenting supplier information
  • Solid experience working in Defence and Secure Government environments, with a focus on Defence and Aerospace markets
  • Familiarity with procurement governance frameworks, compliance obligations and risk management processes
  • The ability to analyse supplier proposals and identify risks, gaps or opportunities, and communicate effectively across multiple functions and geographies
