About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Development Program Lead to join our team at Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA).

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on remote Aboriginal communities.

As a Community Development Program Lead, you will be responsible for leading and developing local staff across sites, meeting service delivery guidelines, and reporting to the National Indigenous Australians Agency and GM of Community Services.

You will also support and manage community-based CDP programs and finances, collaborate with participants and community for support strategies and timely responses, and align activities with participant preferences and community priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant experience and qualifications in CDP or human services, proven leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities, strong communication skills and senior management advisory experience, and a track record of successful CDP operation management.

You will also need commitment to continuous improvement and project management, dedication to maintaining a robust WHS framework, analytical and problem-solving skills with risk management expertise, and ethical integrity in Community Development Service delivery.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary package up to $95,000 per annum, 5 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading, relocation assistance, and the opportunity to make a positive impact on our remote Aboriginal communities.
