Business Operations Leader

\

The success of our team relies heavily on the Business Operations Leader, who oversees business operations across their region. This includes ensuring safety leadership, people leadership, client service, and operational excellence.

\Key Responsibilities\
  • \
  • Collaborate with the Business Centre to prepare annual business strategies and budgets.\
  • Manage operational areas within their region, focusing on continuous improvement and effective resource management.\
  • Drive growth and achievement of targets, including net revenue, gross margin, G&A, operating income, and backlog.\
  • Partner with other Business Leaders to enhance collaboration and work sharing across the business unit.\
  • Lead staff and ensure clear communication of objectives, actions, and focus.\
  • Identify opportunities to reinforce a high-performance culture, emphasizing talent, productivity, and financial performance.\
  • Manage regional talent lifecycle, including recruitment, career development, employee engagement, succession planning, coaching, and mentoring.\
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams and Practice Leaders to deliver quality project outcomes.\Requirements\

    • Team leadership: Proven experience managing teams, preferably 20+ members.\
    • Financial expertise: Understanding of financial levers in a consulting business and ability to deliver results while prioritizing people.\
    • Commercial acumen: Sound understanding of contracts and commercial arrangements, with well-developed problem-solving and negotiation skills.\
    • Project Management: Experience managing large portfolios of projects and implementing recovery plans.\
    • Interpersonal skills: Ability to manage internal stakeholders and achieve a collaborative approach.\
    • Client Focus: Strong relationships leading to repeat work.\
    • Relevant tertiary qualifications and minimum 10 years' related experience.\
