Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of advising senior business leaders on HR-related matters, with a strong focus on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB). They will work closely with our ANZ HR Director and global HR Team to establish HR plans and solutions to support strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years' hands-on experience in Human Resources, with a Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field. They will be passionate about their work within HR and DEIB, and have a proven ability to develop persuasive arguments by combining data, facts and knowledge with a tailored communication style to address stakeholder concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to establish HR plans and solutions to support strategic business initiatives
  • Support the delivery of key people initiatives in the annual HR cycle, including annual salary and bonus reviews, performance management and talent calibration
  • Analyse employee engagement data, draw meaningful insights, and provide practical recommendations to leaders
  • Coach managers on building engagement and fostering a culture of trust within their teams
  • Partner with business leaders to identify, develop, and retain emerging talent
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to define hiring priorities and develop offer terms
  • Facilitate and deliver training to managers and employees as required
  • Provide HR advice, coaching and support to people managers and employees across a range of matters
  • Lead and program manage the implementation of ERM Australia's Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
  • Minimum 7+ years' hands-on experience in Human Resources
  • Proven ability to develop persuasive arguments by combining data, facts and knowledge with a tailored communication style
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and any HRIS
