This role involves delivering tailored Positive Behaviour Support to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing strong, collaborative relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS guidelines by reviewing and reducing restrictive practices.
- Conducting comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying needs.
- Designing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change.
- Providing education and training to support teams to build capacity and confidence.
- Collecting and analysing data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing strategies.
We are looking for skilled professionals who can deliver high-quality Behaviour Support services. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Endorsement as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability Framework.
- A relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy).
- Full Australian working rights.
- Prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
- Access to a vehicle and a current driver's licence.
- A NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check.
