Extrusion Die Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Die Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of extrusion dies.
Key Responsibilities:- Die Inspection & Analysis: Inspect new and used dies for defects, wear, and operational inefficiencies. Analyze die performance issues and troubleshoot to identify root causes.
- Die Correction & Repair: Modify and repair dies using machining, welding, grinding, and polishing techniques. Adjust die flow and dimensions to meet extrusion specifications and improve consistency.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with die designers and production teams to improve die performance. Suggest and implement modifications to enhance extrusion quality and reduce defects.
- Quality Control & Testing: Conduct trials and testing to validate corrected dies before full production. Monitor extrusion quality to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- 3+ years of experience in die correction and repair or related field.
- Strong understanding of die design principles and material properties.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
