Electric Vehicle Business Development Manager

This role focuses on driving the adoption of electric vehicle charging solutions across the construction and building industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling EV charging infrastructure to developers, builders, and other stakeholders in the building and construction sector.

  • The primary responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, engaging with strata managers and building managers to retrofit charging infrastructure in existing buildings, collaborating with internal sales channels to drive sales and deliver tailored EV charging solutions, managing a small portfolio of key accounts, and building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and building industries.

We seek an experienced professional with a proven track record in business development and relationship management, preferably within the construction or EV industries. A strong understanding of the EV charging market and key drivers in construction is crucial. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, ability to build relationships, adaptability, self-motivation, emotional intelligence, collaboration, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sell EV charging infrastructure to developers, builders, and other stakeholders in the building and construction sector.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  3. Engage with strata managers and building managers to retrofit charging infrastructure in existing buildings.
  4. Collaborate with internal sales channels to drive sales and deliver tailored EV charging solutions.
  5. Manage a small portfolio of key accounts.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction and building industries.
