Electric Vehicle Service Technician

This is a technical role that requires expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair. As an Electric Vehicle Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service experiences to customers while working on world-leading electric vehicle technology.

This hands-on technical role involves executing diagnostic and repair work on all aspects of Tesla's product line, including Model S, Model X, and Model 3.

You will work independently and as part of a team to drive maximum service and repair efficiency, providing feedback to internal teams to enable continuous improvement of procedures and products.

  • Executing diagnostic and repair work on electric vehicles
  • Working with a collaborative and respectful attitude in a dynamic environment
  • Operating top-of-the-line tools and equipment
  • Detailing and documenting repairs
  • Inspecting and maintaining service equipment
  • Partnering with other teams to deliver electric vehicles to customers

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Fully qualified Motor Mechanic or Registered Vehicle Technician certification (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a fully qualified Motor Mechanic or Technician
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, and tools used in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Experience using diagnostic scan tools and operating scopes
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and advocate for the brand
