Regional Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a qualified psychiatrist to join our team in the Western NSW Local Health District.
About the RoleThe position is oriented to provide acute care to younger people in the CAMHS inpatient unit located at Bloomfield Hospital. You will work with patients, families, multidisciplinary teams, medical colleagues, other health professionals, and relevant government and non-government organisations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical leadership and supervision of a multidisciplinary team.
- Work within clinical governance structures and contribute to clinical quality improvement.
- Apply recovery, illness prevention and health promotion principles in work with patients, families and carers.
You must have a medical degree (registerable/registered) with the Medical Board of Australia, Fellowship of the RANZCP or equivalent, and sub-specialty training and relevant qualifications in child and adolescent psychiatry with experience in inpatient/outpatient/community settings.
