Acute Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled psychiatrist with expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry to join our team and provide acute care services to younger people.
About the RoleThis position is focused on delivering high-quality care to patients in the CAMHS inpatient unit located at Bloomfield Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with patients and clinical teams, providing inpatient and outpatient services, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and government organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert medical advice and treatment plans for young patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective patient care strategies
- Work closely with government agencies to ensure seamless service delivery
- MEDICAL EXPERTISE: A medical degree, Fellowship of the RANZCP or equivalent, and sub-specialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry
- COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in computer technology
- COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK: Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
