Job Title: Community Mental Health Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our community mental health team. As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to patients and clients in a community setting.

Main Responsibilities:

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works collaboratively with external stakeholders for a holistic approach to patient care. Your key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient/client care, acting as a Mental Health Officer when required, and working effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Nursing Principles and Practices: You will need current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in patient/client care.

  • Mental Health Nursing: You will have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in mental health nursing, including assertive case management, triage, and clinical risk management.

  • Communication Skills: You will require excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
