Mental Health Nurse Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality, clinically appropriate nursing care to patients in partnership with their families and other healthcare professionals.
- Delivering specialized mental health services, utilizing evidence-based practices and recovery principles, within a designated client group.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Practicing in accordance with Australian nursing standards and guidelines.
- Acting as a Mental Health Officer when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in the delivery of patient care.
- Demonstrated expertise in mental health nursing, including assertive case management, triage, holistic assessment, clinical risk management, and crisis intervention.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
