Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality, clinically appropriate nursing care to patients in partnership with their families and other healthcare professionals.
  • Delivering specialized mental health services, utilizing evidence-based practices and recovery principles, within a designated client group.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Practicing in accordance with Australian nursing standards and guidelines.
  • Acting as a Mental Health Officer when required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in the delivery of patient care.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health nursing, including assertive case management, triage, holistic assessment, clinical risk management, and crisis intervention.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
