
Community Mental Health Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality mental health services in a community setting.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychiatric registrars, nurses, allied health and lived experience workers to provide safe, quality care to patients/clients and their families.
The role involves:
- Providing clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.
- Delivering high-quality mental health services within the community setting.
- Collaborating with members of the healthcare team to plan, implement and evaluate patient/client care.
Key Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in mental health nursing including assertive case management, triage, holistic physical and mental health assessment, clinical risk management and crisis intervention within the community setting.
Benefits:
- Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum.
- Access to the Grade 4 salary range is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
