About the Role

In this newly created position, as Medical Lead - Haematology, you will be responsible for executing and driving the success of GSK's medical strategy in this space. You will act as an advocate for GSK Australia at a global level and collaborate with the wider medical team to drive success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with global governance structures, clearly articulating Australia's needs.
  • Develop and execute pre-launch and launch strategies, with an initial focus on Haematology.
  • Utilize medical and technical expertise to liaise with external experts, healthcare professionals, and scientific researchers.
  • Provide medical and technical expertise to scientific submissions, marketing, and sales.
  • Offer external insights to internal teams to assist in business, clinical development, and strategic planning.
  • Act as a delegate for the Medical Director when needed, demonstrating the ability to lead and influence the wider team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated track record in creating and executing complex pre-launch and launch medical strategies, with a critical need for scientific knowledge of (or experience in) haematology. You will demonstrate a growth mindset in improving quality and processes, timelines, and other business solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills, with proven medical governance capability.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to gather information and weigh collaborative opinion from the wider business.
  • Ability to draw on a wide range of internal and external sources to find information and solutions.
  • Experience or understanding of the haematology space is required.
