Aged Care Support Professional

About the Role:
Care Connect is seeking a dedicated Homecare Support Worker to provide essential care services to our Aged Care clients in East Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. As a Homecare Support Worker, you will deliver personalized care, including personal grooming and hygiene assistance, medication reminders, domestic duties, food shopping, menu planning, meal preparation, and mobility assistance within the home and local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to clients, prioritizing their well-being and dignity
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as required
- Perform domestic duties, including cleaning and laundry
- Assist with food shopping, menu planning, and meal preparation
- Provide mobility assistance and support
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 months of paid experience in Aged Care or Community Care
- Driver's license and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Excellent communication skills and good spoken and written English
