Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated educator to inspire and support students through hands-on learning experiences, building confidence, strengthening skills, and opening doors to further study or employment.

This is a meaningful role where you will guide learners to develop job-ready skills in literacy, numeracy, mathematics, and digital literacy, assisting students on their path to a future career.

  • Prepare, deliver, and assess vocational education and training programs, applying various teaching methods, including flexible delivery, on-the-job training, and assessment, reflecting best practice teaching methodology.
  • Research, adapt, and develop innovative learning practices and delivery options to enhance the Program area's capacity to meet the needs of students.
  • Provide learning programs that are inclusive for students from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and abilities; implement appropriate support and/or modified learning programs and strategies as required.
  • Contribute and participate as a member of the teaching area on operational duties, including course advice, student selection, enrolments, promotional activities, graduation, and administrative duties.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/TAE40116) or equivalent.
  • An approved tertiary qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, enabling you to deliver either Literacy (introductory to Certificate III level, including digital literacy) or Numeracy/Mathematics (introductory to Certificate III level).
  • Current industry knowledge, skills, and experience relevant to teaching in the VET sector.
  • A student-centred approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt learning strategies to diverse needs.
  • A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for guiding students to success.
