Inspiring Educator Wanted

The primary focus of a classroom teacher is on planning, preparing and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
They engage in critical reflection and inquiry to improve knowledge and skills to effectively engage students and enhance their learning.
Classroom teachers play a significant role in assisting the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes aligned with the school strategic plan and state-wide priorities.
Range 1 classroom teachers are skilled educators who operate under general direction within clear guidelines following established work practices and documented priorities.
They participate in the development of school policies and programs and assist in implementing school priorities.
Range 2 classroom teachers possess the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students.
They model exemplary classroom practice and mentor/coach other teachers in the school to engage in critical reflection of their practice and support staff to expand their capacity.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to direct teaching of groups and individual students, contributing to curriculum area development and implementation, and undertaking other related duties as determined by the school principal.
Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
