We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and coordination of patient care delivery in a patient care area within a Health Unit/Community Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and coordination of nursing/midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient care and outcomes.
- Accept accountability for the outcomes of nursing/midwifery practices and/or multidisciplinary outcomes in the specific practice setting.
- Develop and implement strategies to address inconsistencies between practice and policy.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in patient care coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
