Position Overview:

The consulting systems engineering division is expanding, and we are in search of an individual who is dedicated to assisting our clients in achieving a secure and reliable online environment.

In this pivotal position, you will oversee, guide, and motivate Systems Engineers assigned to Major Accounts within your designated area. You will devise and execute strategic initiatives aimed at achieving comprehensive deployments of Fortinet products and services across enterprises. Establish and nurture executive relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in Major Accounts, leveraging these connections effectively. Collaborate with relevant internal teams to create and present successful contract proposals, bids, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work. Act as the technical authority for the CSE team on Fortinet's core technology offerings, including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver presentations on Fortinet frameworks to clients, tailoring your communication style to engage various audiences, from C-Level executives to technical teams.
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point during sales discussions, providing education and addressing customer inquiries regarding features, specifications, and integration.
  • Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers and Account Managers to optimize business objectives, acting as a team leader responsible for the effectiveness and success of technical resources in enterprise accounts.
  • Formulate technical account strategies to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Provide feedback to product management to influence the development of new products and solutions.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance customer and partner understanding of Fortinet products.
  • Support the complete sales process, including workshops, RFI/RFQ, and Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives.
  • Identify trends from customer interactions and advocate for product innovation within Fortinet.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technical or pre-sales support as a Sales/Systems Engineer or Consultant.
  • Ability to balance technical expertise with business needs.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of Fortinet products, including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
  • Familiarity with industry performance testing technologies and methodologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (SDN), preferably at a hands-on level with OpenStack or VMware.
  • Understanding of data center architectures, including security considerations across all layers and in-depth knowledge of data communication and telecom standard protocols.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Antivirus.
  • Strong grasp of essential TCP/IP protocols, including TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, DNS, and NTP, along with a broader understanding of various protocols.
  • Ability to design scalable, multi-tenant, multi-service solutions.
  • Self-driven and innovative mindset is crucial.
  • Capable of identifying business opportunities and collaborating with the sales team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for business, primarily within the APAC region.
