We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our team at ECG Engineering in Perth. As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in creating and driving design, reports, studies, and analysis for our clients across the resources and renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake power system analysis for clients, including design of powerlines and substations
  • Design power systems for the mining and power generation industries, utilizing specialized network analysis and performance standard studies experience
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders for various projects
  • Utilize power systems modeling packages such as DigSilent PowerFactory and ETAP
Requirements
  • Strong skills and experience in analysis and design of HV power systems, including design of powerlines and substations
  • Specialized network analysis and performance standard studies experience
  • Solid electrical engineering experience, including knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and controls applications
  • Experience working on both greenfields and brownfields projects
  • Degree-level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialized power engineering qualifications well regarded
  • Ability to self-manage while working in a variety of team/project delivery scenarios
  • Ability to travel with project requirements
