Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Power Systems Engineer to join our Perth-based Power Systems team. As a key member of our team, you will take a leadership role in creating and driving design, reports, studies, and analysis for our diverse clientele across resources and renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake power system analysis for clients
  • Design power systems for the mining and power generation industries
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders
  • Use power systems modeling packages such as Dig Silent Power Factory and ETAP

Requirements

  • Strong skills and experience in analysis and design of HV power systems, including design of powerlines and substations
  • Specialized network analysis and performance standard studies experience
  • Solid electrical engineering experience, including knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and controls applications
  • Experience working on both greenfields and brownfields projects
  • Degree-level electrical engineering qualifications, with specialized power engineering qualifications well regarded
  • An ability to self-manage while working in a variety of team/project delivery scenarios
  • The ability to travel with project requirements
