CQUniversity is committed to advancing the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer in Public Health to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching and research efforts of the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences, with a focus on public health and health promotion. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, as well as engaging in research and community-based projects that address the health needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and supervise postgraduate students in public health and health promotion
  • Conduct research and community-based projects that address the health needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment materials for public health and health promotion courses
  • Engage with industry and community partners to develop and implement public health and health promotion initiatives
Requirements
  • PhD in Public Health or a related field
  • Proven experience in teaching and research in public health and health promotion
  • Strong understanding of the social determinants of health and their impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and stakeholders
