CQUniversity is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer in Public Health to join our dynamic team in the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated academic to contribute to the teaching, research, and community engagement efforts of the School. As a Senior Lecturer in Public Health, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, as well as engaging in research and community-based projects that advance knowledge and practice in public health.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and supervise postgraduate students in public health courses
- Contribute to the development and implementation of public health research projects
- Engage with industry and community partners to advance public health practice and policy
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote the School's research and community engagement activities
- PhD in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation
- Proven experience in teaching and research in public health
- Strong understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on public health
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the development of the School's research and community engagement activities
