Job Overview:

The role of Assistant Park Manager is a vital position that requires an individual with strong leadership and management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Park Manager in maintaining all operational elements of a holiday park.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of Front Office, Cafe, Housekeeping and Maintenance staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Lead and drive customer service excellence, ensuring high levels of satisfaction among guests and members.
  • Implement a safety-first culture across the property, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Manage financial resources effectively, including operating budgets and driving revenue growth.
  • Maintain assets within the property, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
  • Liaise with local stakeholders, including council, industry bodies and community groups, to foster positive relationships.
  • Oversee operations of onsite facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of experience in a similar role, demonstrating effective management skills in hospitality or related industries.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, NewBook, Financial Software and SharePoint.
  • Understanding of caravan park grounds and maintenance requirements, ensuring effective asset management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting caravan park operations, ensuring compliance.
  • An ability to work independently, with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence, Police Clearance and Senior First Aid Certificate, ensuring safety and security.
  • Availability to work a 7-day week roster, including weekends and public holidays.
