Job Opportunity

Position Overview: We seek an experienced Team Leader to lead a team in maintaining and enhancing council-controlled cemeteries within Brisbane.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of cemetery maintenance personnel.
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard.
  • Complete service requests as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in lawn maintenance (cemetery experience highly regarded).
  • Valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • White Card.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
