About This Role

As a Cemetery Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team to maintain and enhance council-controlled cemeteries within Brisbane.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team to maintain and enhance cemeteries
  • Operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining and performing regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensuring lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Completing service requests as required
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures

What We're Looking For

We require an individual with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Lawn Maintenance (Cemetery experience highly regarded)
  • Valid Manual Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
