About Us

We are a social enterprise that aims to uplift economic barriers for Women of Colour. We engage WoC in paid professional work across design, marketing, and digital projects.

Our Mission

To date, we have provided 30+ paid opportunities for Women of Colour and have just turned six months old.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Community Manager to advocate for the success of our clients and community of WoC.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Community Management: Identify, recruit, onboard and develop a diverse range of community groups for different client and impact projects using data and analytical insights.
  2. Data Analysis, Communication and Problem Solving: Develop custom analytical strategies using insights, optimise overall performance and manage a portfolio of Communities using internal measurement tools and data analysis.
  3. Event Management: Lead and project manage events to support the community ecosystem.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Be the face and voice of the community to our internal team and collate and share data-driven community feedback.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A commercial mindset gained through two years of work experience in an early stage startup or agency.
  • A deep love for community and desire to elevate all WoC.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Will travel to visit partners, attend events etc.
  • Team player with strong people skills and ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A kind heart.
  • Loves Data: has experience working in CRM databases, and enjoys diving into numbers and analysing performance.
  • Community Management Experience: especially in startup space.
  • Business development experience.
  • Experience in video production and/or graphic design.
  • Loves digital storytelling.
