Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate professional to join our community as a Community Manager. As a social enterprise owned, led and operated by migrant Women of Colour (WoC), we aim to uplift and empower our communities through innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, recruit, onboard and develop diverse community groups for various impact projects using data-driven insights.
  • Foster strong relationships with intersectional communities, Allies, and other stakeholders to enhance engagement and growth.
  • Develop and execute programs to engage communities, including workshops, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage a portfolio of community groups and share best practices to ensure their success and continued engagement.
  • Implement retention strategies to maintain long-term community engagement, including workshops, events, networking opportunities, and lead the community promotions strategy.
  • Track and analyse community growth metrics to measure engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Solicit, organise, and contextualise feedback from the community.

This is a challenging role that requires resilience, hunger, and the ability to work hard, fast, and efficiently. The successful candidate will be a natural problem solver who can answer questions independently before seeking guidance.

Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A commercial mindset gained through 2+ years of work experience in an early-stage startup or agency.
  • A deep passion for community development and a desire to contribute to elevating WoC.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel for partner visits and event attendance.
  • Strong people skills and ability to engage with team members at all levels.
  • Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A kind heart and a love for data analysis.
  • Experience in CRM databases and digital storytelling.
  • Business development experience and community management expertise.
